A soldier marches through the newfound scorched valley. The Soldier grasps a piece of fabric from the ashes of a cremated tree. They knew not who this belonged to, nor did they care. The Soldier lets the fabric fly, in the hopes that the owner eventually found a way out. Wistful and free, the fabric acts as if life coursed through it, soaring beyond the smoky veil.

Someday, a Child visited a Forest. The Child formed a special bond, ensuring she would come back through the rest of her days.

In her afterbreaths, she protects the budding forest from harm, so that others may someday find shelter in its arms once again.
