"This track originally by Vee had always been one that I hated in the past, and I never really knew why. Today, I feel like I understand it more, possibly in thanks to recovering from some low places myself. When Tanya asked me to cover this for her EP, I was more than happy to oblige.

The final take we went with is heavily imperfect, being more of a test of rhythm than anything. I was prepared to record a better take, but Tanya really took a liking to the song in its unfinished form and insisted on leaving it alone. I don't really hear what she does, but whatever it is, it must be something special."
